Mark Gilliam
Vice President and Chief Information Officer
As vice president and CIO, Mark Gilliam is responsible for the development and implementation of Ardent’s corporate information technology strategy. He joined the company in 2002 as assistant vice president of financial systems and applications, bringing more than 16 years of healthcare technology experience.
Earlier in his career, Mark founded The Meridian Group, a technology solutions provider serving health care companies in the Tennessee region. He also ran the Southeast Division of IT Factory, an international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C. Mr. Gilliam received a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Murray State University.
